Great yarn + basic color + basic-but-still-interesting pattern = love!
I scored a bag of this yarn on sale and knew I wanted to make a really basic black cardigan out of it. Then along came the perfect pattern and BAM! I have a sweater. I knit the pattern as written except I made decreases in the arms (the pattern is top-down and has you knit the sleeves straight. I'm pretty much over bell sleeves at this point.)
